The electric lock acts on a catch that locks the bolt (1) and is released to free the lock bolt. The lock has a mechanism to prevent its opening from the outside and a lock release override (29), which prevents release of the lock by the internal operating controls. A mechanical device (40) is provided to release automatically the override when the lock is opened.
