Lifting jack (8) control the step movement between a position under the baseplate and a position of use. All the rotation axis between baseplate and arms (A,B) or arms and step (C,D) are in the same plan constantly perpendicular to the vehicle floor, so that the step always stay parallel to the floor during the movement.
