The device has a fluid circuit coupled to a pump (18) and composed of a cooling branch (10) containing a cooling radiator (12) of the motor (M) and a heating branch (14) containing a passenger compartment heating radiator (16). The heating branch has a branching conduit (32) which winds about the engine and which connects the delivery side of the pump (18) to an exit conduit (30) originating from the engine. The heating branch has also a selection member (34) disposed at the intersection of the branching conduit and the exit conduit, and disposed to be placed in three different positions for regulating the fluid circulation in the heating radiator.
