Regulator for keying height and alignment of reinforced concrete beam and vertical wall panel uses U-section brackets embedded in beam

The regulator consists of two aligned U-section brackets (2), 30 mm wide and 50 mm long, embedded in the centre of the top of a reinforced concrete beam (1) and set at a distance of 20 cm from each of its ends. The brackets are designed to receive two lugs formed by the projecting tips of two 16 mm diameter steel reinforcing rods (3) set in the wall panel 20 cm from its edges. In a variant of the design the steel rods can be replaced by dowels and bolts.
