The pipe cleaning device has a pressure sphere (3) beneath an upper cap (1), and a tubular shaft (4) extending through the sphere and by its upper end connected to a handle (2) hinged on the upper cap and by its lower end connected to a connecting rod (5). A conical stopper (6) is screwed to the end of the connecting rod. By means of an air pump or compressor air can be stored in the pressure sphere. The handle is operated to draw up the tubular shaft to separate its lower end from the connecting rod so that air from the pressure sphere flows out with a force which removes the blockage in the pipe.
