The temperature regulator for a vessel (1) filled with liquid (2) combines a temperature feedback loop with measurement of thermal exchange between the vessel and a block (4) in contact with the underside of the vessel. The thermal capacity of the block is preferably at least 100 times smaller than that of the system being controlled. Sensors on the block record thermal changes.
