The controller for the electronic mechanism allows the user to unlock an electronic lock, with single use combinations, by activating a neutralization function for the single use combinations. The neutralization function modifies specific numerical data associated with these combinations as soon as these combinations are made the object of a positive comparison with a keyboard entered code. Electronic mechanism for control of a lock of the type having: means for inputting a code, via a keyboard, an autonomous electrical supply, code input analyzer, modifiable memory, memory read/write unit, comparator for input code and inscribed code, and unlocking signal transmitter when compared codes agree. The system ensures complete operation without the need for connection to any external data equipment either by electrical or radio-electrical means.
