The machine is designed to exercise horses in a round paddock and consists of a series of vertical, electrified, screens (16), which are carried by a series of radial arms (10), mounted on a central axis (1). The arms and screens are driven, in a pre-set programme, round the axis and the animal is obliged to walk around the enclosure to conform to the prescribed programme of exercise. The radial arms are carried by a disk (7), which is mounted on and isolated from the central post (1) and its electric drive motor (3).
