This device comprises an elastic element (A) suitable for being stretched between two fixing members (1, 2) which are spaced from one another in a direction of vibration (Z) and which are connected together by two branches (3) made of elastomer, these branches extending substantially in the direction of vibration (Z). A swinging mass (M) connects said branches (3) to each other. This mass is in the form of a ring which is arranged around the elastic element (A) so as to present two abutment zones (9, 10) located respectively in the vicinity of the two fixing members (1, 2) to limit the travel in traction of the latter.
