The undersea munition location method uses acoustic emitters transmitting aperiodical signals following a preset pseudo-random sequence. Acoustic receivers are placed within the working area and the time taken for each to receive the signal is used to locate the emitters. The values are fed to a computer where, at each moment of sensing a signal within a set frequency band, a time scale is used to provide a spatial reference. Independent claim is also included for emitters for use on the method
