Biometric identification method has acquisition (10), analysis (20) and comparison steps (30) for a current signature (25). An additional verification step (40) ensures that the provided current signature (25) originates from an analysis of the biometric data in the acquisition phase (10). Independent claims are made for a chip card with means for acquisition of biometrical data and verification of such data, and a device for acquiring biometric data comprising a suitable sensor.
