Sweet flower (2) consists of a stem (1) made from iron or copper wire core covered by a spiral layer of green adhesive tape (5) as used by florists. A sweet, e.g. a dragee, filled sweet or toffee, is attached to the tip of the wire, either directly or by its wrapper (6) and bound in place by the tape. A variant of the wrapper can be made from a piece of tulle with a wire frame, known as a racket.
