The scooter has a pair of front wheels(2) on opposite sides of the step board(1) and with respective axle supports(6) connected to the board so that they can pivot around respective axes which are orientated upwards and forwards. The front wheels are connected to the axle supports so that they can rotate around respective second axes which extend at right angles to the first. A tension spring(7) is stretched between each axle support and the step board.
