The coiled armband is a metal strip which is rolled laterally, to give a curved cross section. It is held in a shrouding of plastics materials in two or more layers, welded together outside the longitudinal edges of the strip, and with decorations. The plastics shrouding has a voluntary contour projecting over the lines of the metal strip. The shrouding carries text and/or symbols, extending over the sides and ends of the inner metal strip.
