The hybrid vehicle can be powered electrically from internal or external sources (3,4,6) and may also have an internal combustion engine (7). The waste heat from these and from the electric drive motors is used to supply heat for a thermal converter (12) supplying the cabin heating/cooling installation (13) for the vehicle.
