A carrier arm (3) and a pick up arm (4) are mounted in parallel and have a boom (7) mounted at one end. The mass of the object applies a weight force on the point A of the arm. An additional arm (11) is placed at the other end and the four arms are forming a parallelogram. A compensating force is applied by a counterweight on the point C of the arm (11), which is always on line with the point A of the force application and the rotation axis B.
