A joinery component is a thermoplastic extrusion reinforced with ribbon(s). Each ribbon has thermoplastic around continuous glass fibers. Independent claims are included for the following: (a) A frame, window, door, shutter and/or gate including the above component. (b) Making the above includes hot forming the ribbon so the thermoplastic impregnates the thermoplastic and introducing the ribbon(s) to molten plastic to be extruded. (c) Equipment for performing (b) has devices for assembling the ribbon and a draw plate for bringing together the ribbon(s) and the molten plastic together.
