The invention relates to a method for entering programming data into a nomad electronic object (7) in the form of a credit card. The data is entered after the production of the nomad electronic object (7). The nomad object's microprocessor (1) has galvanic inputs (1a) and a capacitive input (1b). The method includes: - the step of establishing galvanic connections (1c with the microprocessor (1)) ) intended to interconnect the galvanic inputs (1a) of the microprocessor (1) with the other components (3, 4, 4b) of the nomad object (7), - the step of putting a capacitive probe (5) opposite the capacitive input (1b), on the side of the external face of the shell (2) of the nomad object (7) concerned. Thus, the capacitive connection (1b) with the exterior of the nomad object (7) is used to enter the programming data of the microprocessor (1) after the production phase.
