A polymer has a structural unit represented by the following formula (1): ;wherein X is single bond, substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group, —S—, or —O—, R₁ to R₆ are each hydrogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, and R₁ to R₆ may be the same or different. An electrophotographic photosensitive member is formed of the polymer. A process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus include the electrophotographic photosensitive member.
