PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product-sum operation processing method capable of economically utilizing a memory in a general purpose RISC type microcomputer and also being executed at a high speed.;SOLUTION: This method consists of a data arrangement processing which alternately arranges two pieces of single-precision data 11a and 11b and two pieces of double-precision data 12a and 12b on a data table(DT) and an operation processing which carries out processing that reads one single-precision data 11a and one double-precision data 12a to perform estimation, adds results to product-sum processing results, also reads the other single-precision data 11b and the other double-precision data 12b to perform estimation and adds results to estimation processing results to the entire data on the DT.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
