(57) Abstract This invention regards ruthenium and the osmium carbene catalyst which generally, are used at the time of orehuinmetaseshisu reacting. In detail, as for this invention, it regards the production method of the Schiff base derivative, and the said derivative of ruthenium and the osmium carbene catalyst. The catalyst of this invention generally, is produced the catalyst of non decoration by processing with the salt of the Schiff base ligand of desire. In the catalyst of this invention, the anionic characteristic ligand and the neutral electronic provision ligand of the non decoration catalyst are substituted simultaneously. The Schiff base derivative of ruthenium and the osmium carbene catalyst opposes to expectation and shows the improvement of thermal stability, maintains high metaseshisu activity even in the protic solvent of polarity. As for the catalyst of this invention it is possible to be used at metaseshisu reaction everything, but use of the catalyst of main invention for the cyclization metaseshisu (RCM) reaction especially is ideal.
