PURPOSE: To perform damping of twist vibration throughout a wider range by causing the occurrence of dry friction through utilization of a slide stopper arranged to a viscous damping part. ;CONSTITUTION: Twist to a first fly wheel 2 from a crank shaft on the engine side is effected, first fly wheel 2 is twisted to a driven member 6 from the crank shaft, and a stopper 10 is moved to the R₁ side. In this case the volume of a second small branch chamber 17 is reduced and fluid flows through a choke C₁ to a first branch chamber 16 to generate low viscous resistance. When a twist angle is further increased, by forcing the protrusion 10a of a stopper 10 into press against the end face in a peripheral direction of a recessed part 6c, a vertical force A is generated at two contact slopes. By means of the component C of force A and a centrifugal force, the outer peripheral surface of a slide stopper 10 is pressed against the inner peripheral surface of a rim part 2c, and viscous fluid in a gap is pushed out. This constitution generates a high resistance force owing to dry friction between the stopper 10 and the fly wheel 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
