Method for controlling shooting angle of television camera in monitor device

PURPOSE:To improve the operability/controllability of shooting angle control by using a joy stick as an operating/ command means for the shooting angle of a television camera. CONSTITUTION:The shooting angle of a television camera 1a is varied corresponding to orthogonal coordinates by a shooting angle driving part 5, and a manipulating direction theta and a manipulated variable L are applied in the sizes of output signals SX and SY corresponding to the orthogonal coordinates by a joy stick 7. The manipulated variable L of the joy stick 7 is calculated by quantizing the levels of the output signals SX and SY into two areas or more at least and corresponding to the quantized manipulated variable, speed for changing the shooting angle of the television camera 1a is changed. The direction theta to change the shooting angle is applied by the signals SX and SY of the joy stick. Thus, the operability/controllability of shooting angle control is improved.
