PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a mycorrhizal fungus growth- promoting agent from a sea alga as a raw material, by which the mycorrhizal fungus growth-promoting agent can practically be produced at a low cost as effectively as possible.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the mycorrhizal fungus growth- promoting agent comprises treating a liquid containing the crushed granular tissues of a Phaeophyceae, such as tangle or Undaria pinnatifida, with a sea alga tissue-degrading bacterium belonging to the genus Pseudoalteromonas and then diluting the produced tissue degradation product-containing liquid with fresh water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
