PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective diagnostic agent for systemic lupus erythematosus.;SOLUTION: This diagnostic agent for systemic lupus erythematosus contains a bonded substance in which a human neuroblastoma strain cell is bonded stably to a polystyrene plate so as to be changed into a solid phase. Especially, the human neuroblastoma strain cell is stuck at a density of (1 to 100)×104 pieces per 300 mm2 of the surface area of the polystyrene plate, and it is bonded irreversibly by paraformaldehyde at a concentration of 0.1 to 50 wt.% so as to be changed into the solid phase. When the diagnistic agent is used, not only a systemic lupus erythematosus patient can be diagnosed, but also a lupus mental disease which corresponds to one of its morbid state can be diagnosed extremely effectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
