PURPOSE: To provide an outer surrounding body like Yamato (lap) roofing which excels in strength, ventilation, and water-tightness, can be constructed simply and quickly, and is used on a roof and an outer wall. ;CONSTITUTION: A high flat section 14 and a low flat section 16 are formed on a rectangular metal plate 10 at a predetermined ratio in the direction of width, and an outer fitting recessed section 18 is formed in the outer section of the high flat section 14. An inner fitting projection section 20 is formed in the vicinity of the outer section of the low flat section 16, and a rise section 26 is formed in the outer section of the low flat section 16. A clip 30 is fixed on a bedding material 48, and an upper section of the rise section 26 of the metal plate 10 is fixed on an upper section of a rise section 32 of the clip 30. The outer fitting recessed section 18 of the other metal plate 10 is fitted into the inner fitting projection section 20 of adjacent metal plate 10. Furthermore, the rise section 26 of the other metal plate 10 is fixed on the rise section 32 of the other clip 30.
