PURPOSE: To automatically carry out installing/removing work of a seal belt pressing metal fitting during unloader operation. ;CONSTITUTION: In a belt conveyor consisting of a belt conveyor main body and a transfer car 5 which travels on a girder 4 of the belt conveyor while lifting a seal belt 1 and is operated linkedly with an unloader, seal belt pressing metal fittings 2, which project outward from the seal belt 1 when they are pressed from the inside, are arranged on both sides of the girder 4 of the belt conveyer at the predetermined intervals. Guides 3, which extrude the seal belt pressing metal fittings 2 toward the outside of the seal belt when they are brought into contact with the seal belt pressing metal fittings 2, are installed on both sides of the transfer car 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
