PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast system where video information are received as if in interactive two-way by using video information transmitted unidirectionally from a transmission station. SOLUTION: A data transmitter 101 uses a multiplexer section 114 to multiplex cyclically a transport stream of navigation information and presentation information stored in a transmission data storage section 102 under the control of a multiplex control section 110, and transmits the multiplexed stream through a transmission section 106. A reception control section 126 of a data receiver 121 sets a filter condition to a filter condition storage section 131 of a TS decoder section 123 by an operation instruction of a user, and the navigation information and the presentation information separated by the TS decoder section 123 are outputted to a display section 129 and an audio output section 130 through a reproduction section 128.
