PURPOSE:To constitute the optical clock phase-locked loop circuit which operates fast with clock light obtained without time-sharing multiplexing. CONSTITUTION:The optical clock phase-locked loop circuit which performs synchronized control by obtaining the correlation between signal light and clock light multiplexes the clock light of short pulses containing higher harmonic components with the signal light by an optical coupler 102 and supplies the resulting light to a progressive wave type semiconductor laser amplifier 103; and an optical band-pass filter 104 detects the correlation signal between the signal light and clock light included in the output signal of the progressive wave type semiconductor laser amplifier 103.
