PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic update program of a portal side, a computer readable recording medium in which the program is recorded and an automatic update system by which maintenance of a portal site in which a part or the entire part of the contents of an official site is included is easily performed.;SOLUTION: The automatic update program of the portal site 1 automatically updates contents data stored in a database 5 for the portal site and to be included in a contents file for the portal site by making an official server 3 execute a procedure to automatically access the database 5 for the portal site stored on a portal server 4 via a network NW, a procedure to automatically transmit the contents data in database 9 for the official site to he portal server 4 when the contents data is updated by transmitting a contents file for management including the contents data after update from a client 10 of a site manager to whom the access to a site 7 (8) for management is permitted via the network NW to the official server 3, or periodically.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
