PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a stable operating state always in an efficient refrigerating cycle by calculating a deviated value from a target superheat characteristic value corresponding to a sensed result of an operating state and supercooling sensing means of a refrigerator, and controlling an opening area of a low pressure side throttle unit based on it. ;SOLUTION: Deviated values of measured values or estimated values of both target values of supercooling degree of refrigerant of an outlet of a condenser 21 and superheat degree of refrigerant of a compressor 3 are obtained by a calculator 29. Then, change ratio of opening areas of regulating valves 23, 24 is calculated based on the deviated values of the supercooling and superheat degrees of the measured values and target values from a relation formula between the obtained deviated values and the change ratio of the opening areas of high pressure side throttle unit 23 and low pressure side throttle unit 24. And, the opening areas of both the units are controlled by a controller 30 from the result.
