PURPOSE: To detect only the partial discharge in a tank by removing the partial discharge noise in the atmosphere generated on the outside of the tank positively. ;CONSTITUTION: The internal abnormality detecting apparatus comprises a waveguide 22 fixed to a tank 4, an electromagnetic wave sensor 23 disposed in the waveguide 22 in order to detect electromagnetic wave and to deliver an electric signal to the outside of the waveguide 22, and a signal processing section 8 for processing an output signal from the sensor 23 and notifying an abnormality in the tank 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
