PURPOSE: To easily construct a vertical shaft for a shield machine by forming a wall body with new raw material precast concrete arranged with carbon fibers and other steel members at a groove section excavated while slurry is mixed, then solidifying the slurry. ;CONSTITUTION: A NOMST precast member 1 prestressed with a new raw material 13 made of carbon fibers in the horizontal direction is provided on a main body 3 made of precast concrete, and its width is set to about 1/2 of the opening width of a shield machine. A steel sheet pile 25, an H-steel 27, a pair of NOMOST members 1-1, 1-2, and a waling H-steel are arranged in a groove excavated while slurry such as bentonite is mixed. A chemical is injected to solidify the slurry, then the shield machine is installed and pressed to the wall face. The H-steels 27, 29 are removed, the NOMST members 1-1, 1-2 are directly excavated with the shield machine to construct a shield tunnel. A vertical shaft for the shield machine to be advanced and reached can be easily constructed for the execution under a road where height is limited.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
