PURPOSE: To position through pillars with high accuracy and to perform tack welding by using the jig having an adjustable mechanism according to a mutual reference plane and inclinations between columns of the through pillars and joint block parts and part accuracy. ;CONSTITUTION: Two I beams are arranged in parallel at a proper interval and two corbels are laid on the two beams to form a base to arrange and support parts to be welded. Moving stages 6 movable along the beams are provided on both outsides of the two I beams. The two moving stages 6 are provided with bases 9 which are guided by elevating guides 7 and 8 and elevated by jacks 10, respectively. The elevating bases 9 are provided with receiving bases 26 tiltable slightly around axes in the horizontal direction to orthogonally cross the beams by fine adjustment means 22 and 22 on both ends. Vanes 38 of joint blocks are mounted on the receiving bases 26 and positioning of the height and inclination is carried out by the elevating bases 9 and the fine adjustment means 22.
