PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve coal plugging in a car for feeding coal into a coke oven without needing man power in a short time without fail. ;SOLUTION: A pushing rod 17 fixed on the cylinder rod of a hydraulic cylinder 18 provided on the body frame 9 of a car for feeding coal into a coke oven is disposed from the upper part so that its end may be inserted into a chute 6. The rod 17 can be freely and vertically moved by the action of the cylinder 18 and has a function of pushing and disintegrating coal 2 in the chute 6. The chute 6 is provided with a plug detection sensor and detects the height of coal in the chute 6. The results detected with the sensor is sent to the cylinder 18, and when the detected height of the coal exceeds a specified value, the cylinder 18 is actuated to allow the rod 17 to push and disintegrate the coal plugging up the chute 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
