PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a crack in a specific place easily and positively so as to prevent a crack from being generated in an optional direction in an unexpected place. ;SOLUTION: Three knotless reinforcements 1A, 1B, 1C are embedded in a thin wall part held between joint grooves 21, 21 of a reinforced concrete wall 11, at specified spaces parallel with the joint grooves 21, 21. Within a period from the time of concrete temperature becoming maximum due to heating reaction of hydration until the time of a temperature crack being generated to the reinforced concrete wall 11 by expansion and contraction caused by heating reaction of hydration, a current is applied to the reinforcements 1A, 1B, 1C by an AC power unit 2 to heat the reinforcements 1A, 1B, 1C. Tensile stress vertical to a plane including the reinforcements 1A, 1B, 1C is generated to the thin wall part between the joint grooves 21, 21 of the reinforced concrete wall 11 so as to generate a crack to the thin wall part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
