PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a composition comprising a methionine-transition metal complex or (and) a chitosan oligomer-transition metal complex, and amino acid into an effective feed additive in an easy-to-use shape, and finally commercialize the composition as the feed when using the composition as the feed additive in various kinds of the agriculture, forestry and fishing industries, and other industries. SOLUTION: The composition obtained by dissolving or dispersing the methionine complex or (and) the chitosan oligomer complex of the transition metal having 25-30 atomic number in a mixed amino acid solution obtained by heating 1 mol 4-9 C higher amino acid and 1-5 mol 2-3 C lower amino acid in water is used as the feed additive. The feed is obtained by using the composition.
