PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast iron casting having excellent erosion resistance, furthermore capable of economically producing a thick and large vessel and excellent in castability as a hot dip Al-Zn plated bathtub material.;SOLUTION: A cast iron casting having a compsn. contg., by weight, 2.0 to 4.0% C, 2.0 to 5.0% Si, 0.1 to 3.0% Mn and 3.0 to 25.0% Cr or moreover contg. one or two kinds of ≤3.5% Mo and ≤5.0% Ni is obtd.
