PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-fiber ferrule for constant polarization optical fibers capable of correctly maintaining a constant polarization optical plane with respect to the ferrule. ;SOLUTION: The four-fiber ferrule for the constant polarization optical fibers is the four-fiber ferrule for the constant polarization optical fibers formed by tightly inserting and fixing four constant polarization optical fibers 15, 16, 17, 18 into the central hole at the front end of the ferrule. Further, the ferrule is provided with angle reference portions 20, 20 near the base part of the ferrule. The constant polarization plane of the arbitrary constant polarization optical fibers 15, 16, 17, 18 are held and fixed at a prescribed angle with the reference portions 20, 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
