VENEER LAMINATED LUMBER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide veneer laminated lumber wherein in hot re-pressing with a hot press in a post process, a bonding surface of a scarfed slant of an end joint veneer for outer layer is not peeled off while their manufacturing method is provided.;SOLUTION: For the veneer laminated lumber by combination of an end joint veneer for outer layer 1 provided wherein one side end or both side ends 1a and 1a of a direction crossing at right angles a fiber direction of a veneer are cut in a scarfed slant face 2, moisture setting type hot melt (PUR hot melt) 3 which is not melted even by hot pressing with a hot press and thermoplastic hot melt (EVA type hot melt) 4 which is melted when hot pressed with the hot press are in a parallel state applied to the scarfed slant face 2; and an end joint veneer for inner layer 1b provided wherein only the thermoplastic hot melt (EVA type hot melt) 4 which is melted by hot pressing with the hot press is applied to the scarfed slant 2 of the veneer and bonded by cold pressing; thermosetting adhesives 13 are applied among respective layers of the veneers 1b, the end joint veneers 1 for outer layer are arranged in a laminating state under a state wherein a moisture setting type hot melt application part becomes outside and the thermosetting hot melt application part becomes inside, and the whole is integrally bonded by hot pressing to the front and rear surfaces of the laminated body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
