PURPOSE:To allow the system to process a parallel noun phrase correctly. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a morphic analysis section 1 implementing morpheme analysis of an inputted original sentence, a component generating section 3 generating a component from a word outputted from the morpheme analysis section 1 and a syntax analysis stack 4 storing a component corresponding to a single word generated by the component generating section 3 or a series of words after the connection is established as the component, and also a connection execution section 5 confirming whether or not the component already stored in the syntax analysis stack 4 is related, forming the connection of both the components as a new component when the connection is established and executing repetitively the confirmation or the like of the connection with preceding components, and a syntax analysis rule section 6 having a parallel noun phrase processing rule 6a used for the processing of the connection execution section 5 and recognizing a substantive able to be connected to a predicate or a substantive in the same case or attribute and stored already in the syntax analysis tack 4 to be a parallel noun phrase.
