PURPOSE: To obtain a compsn. imparting high density at the time of the development of a color and leaving no color at the time of erasure by constituting the compsn. of homogenous compatible matter consisting of three essential components, that is, an electron donating color forming org. compd., an electron acceptive compd. and a specific compd. controlling the color forming reaction of both compds. ;CONSTITUTION: A temp.-sensitive color changeable hue memory compsn. is constituted of homogenous compatible matter consisting of three essential components, that is, an electron donating color forming org. compd. (a), an electron acceptive compd. (b) and a compd. (c) selected from aryl alkyl ketones with the total number of carbon atoms of 12-24 controlling the color forming reaction of both compds. This compsn. shows a hysteresis width of 8-80°C with respect to a color density-temp. curve to discolor. Aryl alkyl ketones are selected from phenyl alkyl ketones. Further, the temp.-sensitive color changeable hue memory compsn. is microencapsulated and imparts high density at the time of the development of a color and leaves no color at the time of erasure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
