PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effectively the balance of the space portion having no field winding of a four-salient-pole brushless AC generator adjustable. ;SOLUTION: Fixing to the rod of a shaft 2 a field rotor wherein salient poles with field coils are disposed in a cross to form the field rotor of a four- salient-pole type, an exciter armature 3 is provided on one hand of the field rotor with a space between it and the field rotor to fix a cooling fan 8, etc., to the same rotor shaft 2 on the other side of the field rotor. Further, fixing a rectifier attaching disk 5 closely to one side or both the sides of the exciter armature 3, a plurality of through holes for developing a wind force are provided in the disk 5. Also, bending the peripheral edges of both the rectifier attaching disk 5 and a disk provided closely on the outside of the cooling fan 8, balance weights are made attachable to the edges respectively to fix these disks to both the exciter armature 3 and the cooling fan 8 by screws, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
