PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining plant growth information, by which the clarification and researches of the diversity of various plants can be performed at low costs in short periods, and to provide a system for controlling the plant growth.;SOLUTION: A plant growth device l disposed on the side of a customer A has a closed growth space having a base portion for planting a growing plant therein, control equipments for controlling the various environmental conditions of the growth space and sensors for detecting the environmental states, and is connected to a control unit 2. The control unit 2 is connected to a server 4 on the side of an operation company B through an internet INT using a universal communication equipment 3.
