PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the compatibility of excellent feedability with blowhole resistance by specifying the tensile strength of a wire to a specific range and specifying the yield ratio of the wire to a specific value or below. ;SOLUTION: The tensile strength of the wire is specified to 350 to 500N/mm2 and the yield ratio of the wire to ≤90%. The yield ratio refers to (0.2% bearing force)/(tensile strength)×100. Oil of 0.5 to 20 μg/g, more preferably 0.8 to 10 μg/g by the total weight of the wire is adhered to the surface of the wire in order to attain the compatibility of the feedability with the blowhole resistance. The tensile strength of the wire of ≥350 N/mm2 is necessary in order to prevent the buckling of the wire at straightening roller or feed roller and the tensile strength of the wire is preferably specified ≥400 N/mm2 in order to prevent the generation of wire surface flaws in a feeding route. If the yield ratio of the wire is ≤90%, the increase in feeding resistance does not occur even if a conduit liner curves. The manufacture of the wire which lessens the generation of wire worn powder is thus made possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
