PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out the high frequency oscillation output into a space with high efficiency by specifying a space secured between a pair of fan-shaped conductor patch faces and a conductor plane extending in parallel to the patch faces and also the radius of each fan-shaped conductor patch and connecting both conductor patches to the different DC power supplies using their sources as the ground potentials. ;SOLUTION: This oscillation device consists of a pair of fan-shaped conductor patches 19, a field effect type high frequency transistor TR 12 and a conductor plane expanding in parallel to both fan-shaped conductors. The center parts of both patches 19 are put close to each other with their arc parts set opposite to each other. The gate and drain of the TR 12 are connected to the center parts of both patches 19 with the source of the TR 12 grounded respectively. The space secured between the conductor plane and the faces of both patches 19 is set at 1/15 to 1/5 times as much as the wavelength with the radius of each patch 19 set at about 1/4 oscillation wavelength. Then the patches 19 are connected to the different DC power supplies whose sources are set at the ground potentials via the DC bias lines 11 respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
