PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building member reducing labor and a cost, and having sufficient strength, and a building structure using this member.;SOLUTION: In this architectural structural material, a surface material 2 is formed by forming a thin steel plate in a cross-sectional square shape, an elastic material 3 of a synthetic resin is filled inside this surface material 2, and is formed as a column member 1, a horizontal member, and the other structural member. In the architectural structural material, the column member 1 is formed by installing hardware on a pole in the upper end part, and installing hardware under the pole in a lower end part, and in the hardware under the pole, a column end plate boring a bolt hole is fixed under a cylindrical installing part, and a part of a long nut for projecting a flange on an end part from a peripheral surface is projected to the lower end from the bolt hole.
