Monitor information (an optical level or header information) related with the service signals 1 and 2 is transmitted from first monitor parts 2-1-2-n and 5-2-5-n to a connectivity monitoring circuit 8. At the time of switching the service signal 1 to the output terminal 6-n and removing the service signal 2, the service signal 2 is interrupted and the service signal 1 is outputted to both the output terminals 6-1 and 6-n.
