PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device and method capable of quickly and easily setting a cap pile column onto a feeder of a high-speed capper which puts a thin plastic cap on a container at a high speed.;SOLUTION: The cap feeder 10 is composed of a conveying conveyer 8 intermittently drived while importing an inclination angle for setting the cap pile column, and a cap hopper 9 which conveys the pile column aslant in parallel with the inclination of the conveyer, and supplies it to a stacker 3. The cap hopper 9 is provided with a plurality of tiltable hopper arms 11. The hopper arm has an openable and closable embracing stick and a pressing plate movable back and forth and conveys the cap pile column on the conveying conveyer by holding it by the pressing plate and the embracing stick at the position facing the conveying conveyer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
