PURPOSE: To obtain woody-tone multicolor dyeable crimped yarn having a deep color and strong contrast and to form a woody-tone pattern carpet by using the crimped yarn as pile. ;CONSTITUTION: Interlaced parts in which single yarns of synthetic fiber multifilaments 2 having different dyeability are interlaced with spun dyed single yarns of synthetic fiber multifilaments and uninterlaced parts in which single yarns form a group and a few interlacements exist are alternately formed in the length direction of crimped yarn to give woody-tone multicolor dyeable crimped yarn having 30-50 interlacements/m degree (K) of interlacement in which degree (Z) of mixed yarns of the spun dyed synthetic fiber multifilament to synthetic fiber multifilament having different dyeability in the uninterlaced part is 10-60%. A woody-tone pattern carpet obtained by tufting the woody-tone multicolor dyeable crimped yarn to form pile fabric, dyeing the pile fabric with at least two dyes and forming a backing resin layer on the dyed pile fabric.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
